About this event:

This evening is a comfortable and relaxed night where we can dive into the interventions in labour.  Promise this won't be an episode of one born every minute. Although we will dive into some of the more anxiety provoking parts of birth education you will leave more confident.

Come along if you are wondering:

  • Can I avoid a cesarian?
  • What happens in an induction?
  • What is the big deal about epidurals?

Bring your own questions too!

Who is it for?

This event is for women with an interest in pregnancy and birth and newborns. This is focused on the needs of expecting mums. Female support people, friends and doulas are welcome to attend.

Why come?

  • Understand the cascade of interventions
  • Because you are wondering what the heck is the big deal with interventions anyway
  • Discuss questions and worries you have around giving birth with interventions
  • Breathe a sigh of relief when others share insights and concerns that feel familiar
  • Are you freaking out? Seriously beat that anxiety when we demystify the whole thing.

What are the details?

Tuesday 7th November

7:30pm-9:30pm

This Circles of Women event brings together pregnant mums with childbirth educator, midwife and doula Jennifer Hazi, in addition to health professionals and therapists. Each of these events has a topic to start of the conversation. Where the conversation ends is anyone’s guess.
